ramp it up entertainment launches International Music Artist Development division.

WE HAVE A PASSION FOR MUSIC ARTISTS

We work with music artists of all ages, genres and performance levels to define and refine their brand. We start with an Artist Assessment that provides us with an incredible amount of information and helps to clearly identify a path that can help music artists succeed. We act as the music artist's personal trainer, often acting as the artist's manager. We connect music artists to songwriters, producers, recording studios, mix engineers, booking agents, record labels, publishers, distributors and brand/potential sponsors.

The path often includes:
  • Creating new website or refining existing website
  • Introducing the importance of 360 marketing/promotions
  • How to: engage with fans and create/manage fan clubs
  • Creating an EPK and other marketing materials
  • Designing new logo or refining existing logo
  • Designing, pricing and manufacturing merchandise
  • Managing social media platforms - what to post, when to post, why to post, like, comment and share and who to connect with
  • Managing YouTube channel, producing video content for YouTube, monitizing artist's YouTube channel
  • Consulting with make-up, hair and wardrobe stylist (s)
  • Managing still photo shoots
  • Producing music videos: performance and lyric
  • Producing behind the scenes video content
  • Consulting on song selection - mix of covers and originals
  • Consulting on show creative direction
  • Consulting on refining stage presence skills
  • How to: book gigs and best practices for optimum gig production
  • Refining artist's on camera and behind the mic interview skills

Dennis Gelbaum Featured in VoyageDallas

January 24th, 2018
Today we’d like to introduce you to
Dennis Gelbaum.
Don’t just make noise – ramp it up! That basically sums up my life. Everything I have ever done has been loud – nothing subtle about me or what I do. (I’m a New Yorker – born and raised in The Bronx! Moved to Plano, July 2013.)
I have two favorite quotes:
“Those who tell stories shape society” Plato
“When you have the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance!” Lee Ann Womack

ABOUT VOYAGEDALLAS
Every neighborhood in Dallas has its own vibe, style, culture and history, but what consistently amazes us is not what differentiates the various neighborhoods but rather what they all have in common.  From Deep Ellum to Arlington (and everywhere in between) we’ve been blown away by how many creative and talented people call Dallas home.
ABOUT VOYAGE MEDIA

We started Voyage Media in Los Angeles, with our flagship publication VoyagerLA. After generating our first million page views in LA we knew our content was resonating with the community.
We’ve since grown to Dallas and a handful of other amazing cities with the help of an amazing network of friends, associates, local insiders and influencers, PR firms, local bloggers, artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and other professionals.

OUR MISSION & EDITORIAL ETHOS

Our small team of 40 has been working hard to create a new type of media for our community. As you browse through our stories you’ll notice that many of our interviews aren’t as polished as you’ll find elsewhere in the media. That’s intentional – we believe that far too many in the media filter, edit, and polish away the personality of interviewees and as a result so much of what we see in the media feels like it’s coming from the same person, the same voice, etc.  We think it’s important for media to more authentically represent the communities they serve and so we try to ensure that voices of those we feature jump off the page.
We also think artists rock.  We love small businesses, mom-n-pops, and hole-in-the-walls. We’re not snobs, but we aren’t fond of most chains.  We think independent entrepreneurs, freelancers and other risk takers make our cities exciting to live in.  We cherish the rebel spirit, we don’t think just a handful of large corporations should control all of our commerce and we think smores with vegan marshmallows are better than normal marshmallows. We respect people and organizations that take the path less traveled.  We root for the underdogs and we almost never say no to pizza.
Accordingly our mission is build a platform that fosters collaboration and support for small businesses, independent artists and entrepreneurs, local institutions and those that make our city interesting.  We want to change the way people spend their money – rather than spending it with the big, cookie-cutter corporations we want them to spend their money with the independent, creative, local entrepreneurs, small businesses and artists.
And finally, we want the stories we share to help give our big city a little bit of that small town community charm, where people know each other and their stories at a deeper, more personal level.

Sexy In The City

I     I recently provided creative direction at a video and photo shoot for a lingerie and beauty/skincare client. I also helped to define and refine their creative and business strategies and implemented processes for the development and execution of all aspects of digital (interactive and integrated), experiential marketing, advertising, promotions, sponsorships and live event marketing, refined Customer Experience both in retail and online, developed and implemented customer loyalty and affiliate marketing programs, managed internal teams focused on website upgrades, logo development, e-commerce, editorial, graphic design, product photography, social media, PR, live brand-funded events, tradeshow exhibits and managed, sourced, negotiated and hired outside vendors on an as-needed basis. I shot still photos on my iPhone 6 and used only natural lighting - here are two of my favorite shots.

I am very pleased to write this letter of reference on behalf of Dennis Gelbaum in my capacity as CIO and CMO of SRS Distribution. With revenue of almost two billion dollars, SRS Distribution is the third largest roofing distribution company in the United States, distributing roofing and building materials to professional residential and commercial contractors from more than 150 locations in 38 states. Overall, Dennis has proven to be a detail oriented, skilled, thoughtful, and thoroughly professional member of the SRS team, which I will briefly elaborate on below.

Dennis was originally hired as the Program Director to manage the development and implementation of our industry first and trend setting E-Commerce site and the refining, designing and launching of our new corporate site. During the interview and onset of the project, Dennis’ sharp skills for branding strategy, marketing, multimedia production and digital communications revealed themselves and Dennis immediately put those skills into action. Dennis reviewed the existing plans and helped refine the plan and enhance the direction we were taking. Dennis was asked to move into the role of Creative Director for the remainder of the project and continued to play an essential role in leading new initiatives around marketing, advertising, promotions, social media and digital communications.

One of the biggest contributions Dennis made was the creation and development of MAP 360° - an interactive ecommerce site that can help our customers grow their business through the use of customized marketing, advertising and promotional products. Dennis was the driving force behind the site from ideation to production to implementation. MAP 360° is self-contained and created a new revenue stream that has no impact on our current staff or resources. This project demonstrated his ability to both work independently on self-started projects as well as working with staff on/off site.

Not only is Dennis highly intelligent; he also is very hard-working. He has tackled every project assigned to him with enthusiasm and competence. He invariably understands exactly what a project is all about from the outset, and how to get it done quickly and effectively. He consistently produces superior quality work, on time, and within budget targets. In my estimation, Dennis is a true example of the type of employee that every employer wants: accountable and responsible, with a superior work ethic and a high degree of integrity.

In closing, I recommend Dennis Gelbaum very highly for any position that involves complexity and creativity, with high quality requirements. He is an exceptionally bright and hardworking person who will do his very best to do an outstanding job for whomever he works for/with. If I may be of further assistant with regard to Dennis, my contact information is below.

Dolphin Boy will promote literacy - launches Kickstarter campaign!

Kids need to read and Dolphin Boy will help promote childhood literacy. Dolphin Boy will also create QTE - a quality time experience between children and their families.

'Dolphin Boy' will feature pop-up illustrations, pages to color and access to a downloadable soundtrack. The book will be accompanied by an interactive website where visitors can share stories (multimedia) about friendships - imaginary and real - and connect with others (socially) who have engaging, motivating and inspiring  stories to tell and share. The story of Dolphin Boy will also be re-created as an animated web based series and feature film.
Phase One: The first round of funding will be used to create the book, launch the website, and record the soundtrack/theme song.  ($150000 - expected delivery date Jan 2017)
Phase Two: second round of funding will be used to expand the website, complete the soundtrack and start work on the animated web series. ($250000 - expected delivery Jan 2018)
Phase Three: The third round of funding will be used to complete the animated series.  ($350000 - expected delivery date Sept 2019)
The biggest risk we face - after Funding Phase One and completing the book - is not having enough funding for Phase Two and Three.
The Story of Dolphin Boy
Caleb is a ten-year old boy who has the ability to communicate with dolphins. Although he tries to convince others of his unique and often magical ability, no one believes him – except for his best friend and neighbor Sara and her father Sam, who is a Marine Biologist and a Professor at the local University.
Caleb has been diagnosed with a life ending disease and although he has days when he feels he can do anything, he is digressing very quickly. The doctor’s agree that he has very little time left and they recommend that he spend his time out of the hospital and at home with his family. They offer the family very little in the way of comfort but do try to prepare them for the inevitable. They are told Caleb will die within the next few weeks.
Every afternoon, Caleb, Sara and Sam visit the beach and swim in the ocean. Sam is amazed to see the number of dolphins who appear and he begins to notice that their numbers are increasing each day. When Caleb enters the ocean, dolphins instantly surround him. And with every swim in the ocean, with every touch of a dolphin, Caleb gains some of his strength back. But the improvements in Caleb’s condition are only temporary, remaining for less than a few hours after swimming in the ocean.
One morning, Caleb calls his parents into his room. He calls for Sara and Sam too. He tells everyone that he is OK and that he is ready to die. He assures everyone that he is not in pain, but that he must go now. He explains that he wants to go out on the family boat.
Caleb, his parents, Sara and Sam are in the family boat holding Caleb, who is going in and out of consciousness. He whispers to his mother and father that they need to place him in the ocean. He wants to feel the coolness of the sea. They reluctantly agree. They jump overboard and Sam and Sara gently hand Caleb to them. As they do, dolphins appear, swimming right up to the family.
One of the dolphins places his head in Caleb's outstretched hands. Caleb strokes the dolphin and the dolphin responds to Caleb’s touch and sounds. Caleb looks up to his mom and asks her to let him go. She doesn’t know what he means. Caleb tells her that she needs to let him go with the dolphins. She becomes hysterical and as she and her husband loosen their grip on their son, a miracle begins to occur.

Caleb grows stronger and a bright light shines through his eyes and his smile provides a sense of warmth and calmness for everyone. He takes one last look at his parents, Sam and Sarah and says goodbye. Caleb is slowly transformed into a dolphin and jumps high in the air as if to celebrate life. He is alive and he is home. He will be missed but never forgotten.

I would like to introduce you to ramp it up entertainment. We specialize in turnkey event production and management. We create extraordinary ideas fueled by data, creativity and technology. We can help you EVENT BETTER!

Our innovative and effective experiential marketing programs and promotions connect brands with consumers through their passions and interests. One of the most effective ways to build trust and grow your brand is to let customers live it, wear it, drink it, eat it and try it. Attending a branded live experience drives 65 percent of people to recommend the brand and 59 percent to buy it at retail afterwards. Every day, our experiential team is planning and executing live interactive multimedia programs for clients who want to bring their brands to their consumers in unique, multisensory, relevant and memorable ways. ramp it up entertainment and our partners design, develop, manage and flawlessly execute experiential programs that engage, motivate and inspire - connecting with customers at every possible touch point online, off-line, in store, out of store or mobile. And we develop and implement unique, solution driven sponsorship activations that support key brand marketing and business initiatives and strategies. We can help you unleash the power of your brand and EVENT BETTER!

We’re imagining possibilities for brands. We create and produce original, multimedia live events/interactive branding experiences for two to hundreds of thousands of participants. These events engage, motivate and inspire. From the theatrical to the practical, a single speaker to a symphony orchestra, hundreds of performers simultaneously juggling power tools while riding unicycles, suspending seventy-five feet long dragon kites from the ceiling of a 10 story atrium, to projecting laser/animated images onto the sides of buildings, we bring a little magic to each and every event we produce. With over twenty+ years of proven experience in building brands, we produce results that far exceed goals, projections and expectations.

We've taken our award winning creative and production skills, married them with unique distribution strategies – including the web, mobile, social media networking and barter distribution – to come up with a unique business model that is helping companies create impact. We connect brands to consumers and consumers to brands.

We believed in the power of extraordinary ideas. At ramp it up entertainment, we believe in the power of storytelling and creating interactive multimedia brand funded experiences to motivate, inspire and engage.
